Identifying a problem that could be fixed with technology is a problem itself. I suddenly found that most of my problems at work are people related instead! And my personal problem is lack of time, just like most people in Hong Kong. Sitting in front of my computer, with two tiny aqua tanks next to me, I thought this would be my topic. Finding an aquarium that fit my needs in Hong Kong is a challenge for myself. Most hongkongers would simply go to Goldfish Street in Mong Kok for aquariums. However, people living far away from Mong Kok and staying at office late could hardly get there on weekdays. Currently, there are information online from various platforms and sources about the aquariums in Hong Kong. However, most of them are not complete and providing up-to-date details of them. I would like to create a platform with a growing database with the information categorized and updated with the collaborative effort from a group of aquarists (including the owner of the aquariums). The advancement of technology is important. But I think the most valuable part is how we apply the technology in solving our problems.
